Temperament and Goodness-of-Fit : 16th Oct 10.30am-12pm.
Children are born with their natural style of interacting with or reacting to people, places, and things—their temperament. Between two people, due to temperamental likes and differences, there can be a match that makes things easy or mismatch that can be challenging; this is known as “goodness of fit.” By understanding children’s temperaments and their goodness-of-fit with your own, carers can tailor their approaches to account children’s individual differences.
Join a frank and lively online training session with Dr Amy Conley-Wright who is Director of the Research Centre for Children and Families at the University of Sydney.
