Here you will find out about becoming a carer, register for training, contact us for support, learn about upcoming events and become part of a community of carers, guardians and adoptive parents.

The My Forever Family NSW program has been underway for the last month, providing recruitment, training, support and advocacy to a range of carers including foster carers, kinship carers, guardians, and adoptive families for children from statutory care in NSW.

My Forever Family NSW recognises the need for safety, nurture and stability for children and the benefits of growing up in family, connected with culture and community.

We recognise the complexities and that there need to be a range of carers to suit different circumstances in the best interest of the children in care.

The program delivers culturally appropriate, tailored content designed to both increase the number of carers in NSW, along with ensuring that carers have the support and training required to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children in their care.

As part of our commitment to carers we will be advocating for systemic changes to improve the lives of children in care and the experience for the carers who play a vital role in their lives.
